This is one of the best overall modifications/upgrades for any Honda Element. The stock 51R battery is undersized and underpowered, even for a stock Element. Tired of slow cranking, dim lights, or worse, no start conditions when you’re out camping in your Element? The answer is to upgrade your battery to a 24F size battery. It is true that you can turn down the ears on your stock tray and install the larger battery, but once those ears are bent down, they lose their tension and can not properly retain the battery. Enter this kit. A Stainless Steel (SS) tray, SS hold down, SS J hooks, and all mounting hardware included. We send each kit out with 4 riv nuts and 4 flange bolts to properly attach your new battery tray. (As a side note, inspect your negative ground cable when installing this kit. They are prone to corrosion which leads to failure.) Stainless steel means that this part will not rust and any corrosion is easily cleaned up.
